About Parajumpers

In 2005 Ape & Partners started producing and distributing a new brand, which is now the most important for the company: PARAJUMPERS. Parajumpers is a project deriving from the cooperation between Ape and designer Massimo Rossetti, who has many years of experience as a designer of outerwear apparel, and also as importer for the Italian market of American brands. He personally designs Parajumpers and follows the development of the products, cooperating with the best pattern maker on the market from the first prototypes to the final product. He also helps in controlling quality standards of materials used and fabrication techniques of the manufacturing partners in China. Since the beginning, Parajumpers has achieved important results: sales have grown at an average rate of 20% on a yearly basis, also thanks to product and line diversification, which makes of Parajumpers a total look brand.

Parajumpers, launched on the market in 2006 with a collection of only 3 men's and 3 women's jackets, has rapidly grown to become an international reference point for outerwear. Massimo Rossetti, designer and dogged researcher, has made a substantial contribution to the development and spread of sportswear fashion in Italy.

Parajumpers has been selling very well in countries all around the world. Today, Parajumpers is present in 25 countries worldwide, but further expansion in new markets is to be expected in the next 3 years. A meeting with a serving member of the 210 Rescue Squadron in an ill famed bar in Anchorage, Alaska provided inspiration for Massimo to create Parajumpers. The result is an extremely innovative outerwear collection, designed to be functional in first place, and with highly technological components. These jackets made of hardwearing nylon come with a removable feather-padded lining and a fur-trimmed hood. The collar fastens with a hook used in parachuting. On the front lies a large, zippable multi-cargo pocket containing a further three pockets designed for carrying accessories, such as iPods, GPS devices, mobile phones, etc. The innovatively simple yet distinctive design of the Parajumpers collection is making a splash in all the best shops – from Fred Segal in Los Angeles to Bloomingdale’s in New York, and again in Paris, Brussels, Tokyo, Monaco, Berlin, Amsterdam, etc.
