Acoustic Blanket / Curtain

Sound Control Blankets offer various levels of noise reduction by combining 2 layers, first of sound absorbing material Layer finished with quilted facing and second layer of high performance mass loaded vinyl barrier.  The Sound Control Blankets are typically hung from grommets and include a maximum of two inch overlap seam with option to be sealed with industrial-strength Velcro when needed.  The density of the sound absorber and mass loaded vinyl barrier determine the level of sound reduction provided by the Sound Control Blankets which can be up to 40 to 45 db Reduction.

Sound Control Blankets are also referred to as sound curtains, noise blankets, and noise curtains.  They all share in common a mass loaded vinyl or MLV layer, sound absorbing fiberglass, and quilted facing for either indoor or outdoor use.  In all cases, the Sound Control Blankets offer a modular panel size typically in 1 or 1.2 m width and lengths up to 4 m.
